Gift Voucher Terms & Conditions These Terms and Conditions apply to the purchase and use of all tour and experience gift vouchers issued by Earth Adventure (“we”, “us”, “our”). ________________________________________ 1. Validity • Gift vouchers are valid for three (3) years from the date of purchase. • The experience/tour must be booked within the voucher’s validity period. The travel/tour date may occur after the expiry date, provided the booking was made before the voucher expired. • Expired vouchers will not be honoured, and no extensions will be granted beyond the validity period, except in circumstances outlined in Section 4. ________________________________________ 2. Redemption & Usage • Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash. • Vouchers may be transferred to another tour or experience offered by the same company, subject to availability. • If transferring to a product or experience of higher value, the price difference must be paid at the time of booking. • If transferring to a product of lower value, no refund or credit will be provided for the un-used amount • All bookings are subject to availability and must be made in advance. ________________________________________ 3. Payment & Fees • A non-refundable 1.5% surcharge applies to all credit/debit card payments. • Tour pricing is subject to change. If prices have increased since the voucher was purchased, the difference must be paid at the time of booking. ________________________________________ 4. Cancellations – By Us • We reserve the right to cancel a tour or service at any time prior to departure due to operational considerations beyond our control, including but not limited to: o Adverse weather conditions o Mechanical breakdown o Staff illness • In this case, your voucher will be re-issued and can be re-booked for another date within the original voucher validity period. • If your voucher is due to expire when the cancellation occurs, the validity may be extended for up to three (3) months. • If your voucher has expired when the cancellation occurs, a 3-month extension will be provided from the time of cancellation. • If the rebooking does not occur within this extended period, the voucher will be forfeited. No refunds will be provided. • It is your responsibility to re-book the tour or experience via our website within the applicable rebooking period. • In the rare circumstance that the tour or product is not offered again within the three (3) month extension period (e.g., a seasonal tour), or there are no future dates scheduled, we may provide a further extension as a special consideration. The maximum possible extension is twelve (12) months from the original cancellation date.________________________________________ 5. Cancellations – By You • If you cancel your booking, standard cancellation time frames apply as per our general cancellation policy. • If cancelled before the cancellation penalty period, your voucher will be re-issued for the remaining validity period of the original voucher. • If you cancel your booking after the voucher has expired, the voucher will be forfeited and no reissue or refund will be provided. • If you need to reschedule your booking, standard cancellation timeframes apply. Rescheduling is not guaranteed and is subject to availability. • No refunds will be issued for bookings cancelled by the participant. • A cancellation is only effective once we have received written notice via email from you. ________________________________________ 6. Refunds • Gift vouchers are non-refundable, except in the limited circumstance described in Section 7. • Refunds for eligible bookings can only be issued to the original purchaser and to the same credit card used during the initial transaction. • Any applicable cancellation fees and surcharges are non-refundable. ________________________________________ 7. Discontinued Tours or Experiences If we change or remove the tour or product your gift voucher was originally issued for: • The dollar value of the voucher will be honoured and can be applied towards another tour or experience we offer. • If the replacement experience is of higher value, the customer must pay the difference at the time of booking. • If the replacement experience is of lesser value, no refunds will be given for the difference. • If no suitable alternative is available, a refund may be issued to the original purchaser, using the same payment method with management approval. ________________________________________ 8. Responsibility & Liability • We are not responsible for any lost, stolen, damaged, or expired vouchers. • It is the voucher holder’s responsibility to ensure that bookings are made within the valid period and that all booking conditions are met. • Gift vouchers found to be fraudulent or used in violation of these terms will be voided without refund. ________________________________________ 9. Changes to Terms • We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without notice. The current version will be available on our website or upon request. • In the event that we change ownership or cease trading, your gift voucher may not be redeemable.
